Irfon View

Irfon View was built by Samuel Jones in ?? He also built Danybryn. It is said that Danybryn was for his 2 daughters and Irfon View for his 2 sons (Dai and Sam). Samuel Jones was a wheelwright and there was a wheelwright's workshop on the side of the house between the house and the lane, He also made coffins as the occupant was the local undertaker, People remember the banding wheel for making cartwheels and the fire pit across the road for putting the metal rim on the wheel. At one time the  Hounds from the hunt were kenneled in a shed on the river bank underneath the stable.
